The Power of Selenite Stone

Spring Solstice is here and what better time to clear out old energy? One of the best ways to clear out negative energy is selenite stone. According to Adironnda, the selenite stone is from the future, but was brought back to Earth to bring peace to the planet.

Are Selenite Crystals Valuable?

Like anything, you get what you pay for when it comes to selenite stone. However, selenite stone is very readily available, so you can actually get quality stone at a fair cost. These are such special gemstones, they are made into many different sculptures and can be used all over your home or practice.

You also shouldn’t have to worry about the authenticity of your selenite stone, as there is no shortage of these powerful gemstones. So, why are there some selenite stones that cost more than others?

The answer there is simple – the quality, the weight, and the setting. Selenite stones are rated based on the color, transparency, and sheen of the stone. You will find that selenite stones with a more visible “cat-eye” effect will come at a greater cost, but will be worth it!

Is Selenite a Gemstone?

The simple difference between a gemstone and a precious gem is how rare or common it is. Selenite stone has an abundant supply and therefore is not considered a precious gem. I would argue that it is a very precious stone indeed.

Selenite stone is a crystal variety of the mineral gypsum and has been used throughout history for its healing properties. It is believed to promote physical healing, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.

One of the key features of selenite stone is its ability to cleanse and purify energy. It can be used to clear negative energy from a space or from the body, making it an essential tool for any healing practice. Selenite stone will mirror the intentions of the user as well as the receiver!

The most unique feature of selenite stone is its ability to charge and cleanse other crystals. Simply place your other crystals on a selenite stone charging plate or wand and let the selenite do the rest!

Can Selenite be Used in Jewelry?

While we have entertained the thought of using selenite stone beads in our bracelets, we feel that the beads would be much too brittle and could break off. My favorite way to use selenite stone is with a selenite sword, and here’s why.

Not only can you benefit from the selenite stone itself that the sword is made of, but you can also benefit from what is set in the handle of the sword! For example, you could get a selenite sword with a Shungite handle, which is used to help with the healing of allergies or skin conditions.

You can feel the energy of the Stilbite Crystal Selenite Sword of Light when you touch it. The stilbite connects our heart, third eye, and crown chakras together and helps to balance our emotions. Combined with the selenite stone, this is a very powerful tool indeed. Here are a few more Selenite Swords offered in my shop:

Selenite stone also has a calming effect on the mind and body, making it a great aid for meditation and spiritual work. It is believed to enhance intuition and psychic abilities, making it a popular choice among astrologists and numerologists – and why it’s the stone I use most!

Don’t wait to experience the transformative power of the selenite stone – take the first step towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Do you use a selenite stone in your healing practice or in your life? I would love to hear about how it’s helped you! Share in the comments!

Namaste Y’all

  1. I find using this stone during meditation a calming yet expansive energy. I have one in the shape of a heart I use during meditation and a spherical shaped one that resides on my bedside table for sleep hours which I believe is beneficial to my dream travels.

  2. Greetings Marilyn!
Thank you so much for this video on selenite. I have some towers and rough sticks and generally used them for protection around my house. I did not realize that I could set an intention for it for healing. Such great information and timely as always. Will definitely take a look at the swords 🙂
    Much love and light,
    Beth

  3. I was told by a psychic that there is a beach in Maine with these crystals in the sand. This was an optimal place on the coast where I would thrive she said. Have you any knowledge of this area? I can't seem to locate it…

  4. It is my understanding, selenite will MELT if left in water. I do have several selenite crystals including a lamp, and love them all. Please let people know not to try to wash these stones or set them in water. If they do they will end up with a puddle of "dirty water." I got this information from a woman who was actually in the selenite caves in Mexico before they were closed for safety reasons.

  5. I use Selenite Daggers in my practice to assist with releasing stuck energies in my client's chakras. I use them personally, on a daily basis to heal and regenerate my physical body. A year ago my body was shutting down due to issues with my liver. I could barely get out of bed for more than 6 hours a day. A part of the lifestyle changes I made includes a morning ritual with the Selenite, music and light therapies. Of course there are dietary and exercise changes. It really all works together. Last August (6 months later) I participated in a Tough Mudder at the younge age of 59. I am a fan of Selenite!

  6. Good Morning Marilyn,
I have a selenite sword I purchased from you long ago. This morning watched your video and as you were talking about the sword I realized I could use the sword to help my aching back. Well it worked and thanks once again for the sword. It did bring some relief.
